School Binder: Work Organizer & Note Taker for the Classroom App Reviews

I cant delete noted that i dont want. I wish u could write notes in different folders not just take pictures. Otherwise I really like this app.a little confusing at first. Im a teacher assistant and it works well except for the few problems.

School Binder I paid $2.99 for the app thinking since it isnt the cheapest $0.99 deal, how bad could it be? Well... In Calendar when you press Today, it takes you anywhere but todays date. When you scroll up and down the calendar, the app displays the Month and Day, but not the Year. The app cant be viewed in landscape mode. Where you can add a note, you can add only one note for each type of note. That means you can add exactly 1 regular note and 1 C-Note for every course/tab. You can add, however, as many photos as you want. Navigating around the different tabs involves looking at animations which I find nauseating. The animations cant be turned off because there isnt a Settings menu anywhere in the app. This app is like a poorly designed photo album that makes me sick looking at it. I cant use it until at least I can turn off the animations.

I have created a tab for all my students and started to load work samples under the subcategories. This is going to be great when I need to show parents or administrators evidence of what a student is doing. The only thing is that after 20 tabs the program takes a while to open. I dont know whether that can be fixed by the developer, or i need to allocate more memory to the app? (Which Im not sure I know how to do.)

This app is awesome. You type in your school info and classes and It makes you a binder where you can write class assignments and take notes on. I would defiantly say get this app if you want to be organized and keep up with school work

Ive seen a lot of cheesy organization apps for school, but I must say, I really like the layout and functionality of this one more than the others. The ease of use plus the interconnectivity with ical is great. Definitely will continue to use for the remainder of my time in college.

And that is no exaggeration. Got this for both my 13 and 9 year old kids. They love it.

Wow. I just live this app. Finally one done right. I have tried many apps like this one in the past. They were either hard to use or had a crappy interface. The user interface in this one is well done.

It look like a great app to write in however there isnt even a place to write!

We are a 1:1 school and this is now a required app for the the students in my classes. I was so tried of them losing their papers, but now they love using their iPads, or for some, personal iPhones, to save the work I pass back to them.

I wish I would have known about this BEFORE the end of the school year lol. I saw my friend using it so I had to buy it. I cant wait until school starts next year so I can use this. It will def help me with organizing and I liked the calendar and way you can upload pics

I am a Special Ed coordinator for a high school campus and started having all our case managers set up tabs with the students on their caseload to save work samples. This has been great for showing progress to parents at IEP & parent meetings.

Love the interface. (And more importantly, so do my students)

I love this app, but I cant take notes under specific headings. In real binders there are tabs. This app has tabs, but it will only let you import pictures into them, not take notes. You can, however take notes that are organized by date on a calendar.

I have an iphone 4. After the initial setup screen, nothing works. The tabs dont function.

The note section is one of the simplest to use I have found. Looking forward to using it this fall for my continuing education classes. And I am using an iPhone 4 and it works fine. (Airpain, did you contact the app support on your issue.)

The developers decided what tabs you need and so far I havent found a way to change that. I wanted to use this to organize ideas for lessons, projects, and students. There are too many tabs that I dont need but I cant delete or change them. I can add tabs but then I cant put them in the order that I prefer. Its a great idea but I need to be able to customize it for my needs and not have that decided for me.

i cant even take notes in this app. it was a total bust and waist of time i wish i can get my money back. i am telling you to buy a different app this one doesnt do what they say it dose at all.

Really like the simplicity of taking and saving notes that this update offers, and how easy it is to go back and edit & share them. One suggestion though for another update, the note taking icon is kind of hard to find (at the bottom of the page and too small). It needs to be more prominent.

Every time I click on it. It closes right away. I have yet to even see the home page. This app will not work please fix that. I am using an iPad.
